The stand up pouch is the most popular flexible plastic barrier configuration we make. These bags are outfitted with a bottom gusset, that when deployed, allows the pouch to "stand up" on a shelf in a store. Add features such as a zipper closure and a tear notch for extra convenience.

With a 3 seal pouch configuration, you load the product in the same way your customer would remove it - through the top. Additionally, bags with a zipper closure could be used without heat-sealing. 3 seal containers pack well in standard cardboard boxes, saving you money on transportation costs.

Spout pouches launched into popularity several years ago and are idea for dairy, baby food, yogurt and other liquid food products. They are convenient, easy to open and reseal, making bottles, jars and jugs unnecessary. All of our containers are food safe and approved by the FDA.

CareSilver is our silver barrier material that offers a great barrier to cost ratio. This packaging material is not only strong and durable, but also an ideal surface for your printing. This material is compatible with both digitally printed or plate printed pouches. CareSilver comes in both a Gloss, Matte, or Custom finish.

CareClear is a transparent base material. That means you can use it to build windows into your bag to see the food inside. It comes in many variations but all of them can be custom printed, both digitally or plate printed. CareClear bags make for practical solutions where viewing windows are allowed by your state's laws.

CareFoil is our highest barrier material. In essence it is like putting your food inside an aluminum tin, but in this case it's a flexible pouch with an aluminum foil layer of protection. Don't worry- your product never actually touches the aluminum. It's one the best packaging options on the market, since you get all the benefits of using aluminum, including maximum shelf life and retained potency of your product.

There are certain considerations that should be taken into account when deciding on the right type of packaging for your food products. How long are your products going to be in the package? What is the required shelf life? How important is the freshness of your products?

Compare packaging Corn Chips vs. Dried Berries. Corn chips are a low margin retail item usually packaged in economical medium to low barrier materials. Because they are generally consumed quickly, nobody expects chips to have an extensive shelf life. Dried berries, on the other hand, are more expensive supplies and require a longer shelf life. they are highly stable and are not usually consumed in one sitting. Therefore, the packaging must reflect these differences.

While digitally printed bags come with several advantages, we sometimes advise clients to opt for plate printing depending on their needs. Mostly because plates offer the lowest per-bag price points. However, digital prints offer a more robust color count and are its best for short run usage. Whichever the case, we always have a support staff to walk you through the production process and help you identify which printing is best for your project.

You don’t have to bring press-ready art. There are many technical considerations when printing barrier films, and we do all that service for you.
